The second Company Distilling location—and first newly-constructed distillery for Company Distilling—is located on 13.5-acres on the Little River in Townsend, TN. The Townsend greenway passes right by this location—perfect for walkers and bicyclists—and we also have ample parking for those driving to and from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Just 25 miles from Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and 31 miles from downtown Knoxville, the Townsend location is found on the peaceful side of the Smokies. With a production area, bottle/retail shop, and bar with portfolio tastings and a signature cocktail menu, you can spend some time with your best of company in The Peaceful Side of the Smokies.
Gather Around indoors or outside on the patio area and enjoy ample seating, corn hole boards, and other activities. Grab a bite to eat and sip on whiskey and bourbon cocktails as you enjoy one of our scheduled programs, or one by at a quieter time and enjoy the sounds of nature outside.
Friendly pets are welcome outside in our patio area.

Food
Maryville-based restaurant, Amici, has a permanent menu at the distillery, allowing visitors to gather with friends and enjoy delicious food and fine spirits. The restaurant space is called “Amico,” which means “a friend” in Italian.

What’s on Tap
Company’s approach to brewing and beer styles reflects tradition and craft, while celebrating the local and regional heritage of the places they call home. Session-able, traditional and refreshing beer styles, including a Kolsch, an American Lager and an American IPA, all of which are currently on tap in Townsend.

Sophisticated, beautiful distillery. Matt and the lady bartender made our stop very enjoyable. They offered information and asked about our trip. Bourbon and Kolsch were a great treat after our hike in the Smokies.

Everyone needs to visit this distillery…I’ve visited many other distilleries throughout Kentucky and Tennessee; this “Company” has a great thing coming together… Spirits are top notch, food is great, and service impeccable. All enclosed in a beautiful facility.

Simply the best distillery in existence! Whomever is producing the high quality whiskey here is to be commended. Quality and customer experience is definitely top of mind in the production of this whiskey. If you are looking for a cheap, let’s get drunk whiskey, this is not for you. Quality is this distillery’s primary focus.
